How are the hotel ratings calculated?
The hotel star ratings are used to indicate the overall quality of the hotel accommodation, service and facilities. The criteria used varies between each country and is dependent on the supplier.

What do 'Available' and 'On Request' mean?
Once you have clicked search, a list of appropriate hotels is returned with the message 'Available' or 'On Request' signalling their availability.

'Available' means that rooms are currently available and can be booked immediately.

'On Request' means that there are rooms matching your search, but your operator needs to send a request to the hotel to confirm availability

Why can't I book a hotel more than nine months in advance?
Hotels do not publish their room tariffs or availability more than nine months in advance.

Will there be charges for infants and children?
There may be additional charges for children and infants, depending on the hotel and the room type booked. These will be indicated on the hotel details and the booking form.
